We are thrilled to welcome Wadaba back to Boston for our Summer 2019 4-Day Workshop series! These workshops provide a unique opportunity to experience the rich artistic culture of Guinea without having to get on a plane! Since 2005 (14 years) Wadaba has come to Boston to help us create a community of West African style drummers by providing rhythms, songs and understanding of the ceremonies of his

village of Oroko, Guinea. What is especially memorable are the very unusual songs and dances he brings to us and as always, the memorable solos that are not of great difficulty but you remember them! Beginners to professional levels - all are welcome to all workshops. Bring your djembe (rentals available). This Summer we bring you 4 days and evenings of drumming fun with Wadaba. Thursday night thru Sunday afternoon. We will have Thursday night as a slightly more beginner workshop so you can really get ALL the basics you will want and use during the rest of the weekend. Many advanced drummers will take all of the workshops anyway. We hope you can come! It will be a weekend to remember for a long time! Improve your drumming skills and experience! With James Taylor – I just got recognized as one of their top fans! 🎉 I've seen James and her james numerous times mostly in the BOSTON area. And I listened to him on the radio, all the time and on television when he pops on. That man has the smoothest voice in music for the past 40 more years, however long it's been. Countless decades ago when I was in my teens I had panic disorder and was hospitalized for quite a while.

I don't have that anymore, but I still listen to James Taylor because it's so refreshing as a musician myself to hear that tonal quality, the inspiration behind the songs, the lyrics, the band, the music, all of it - being a musician again I say I've never heard of voice as pure and loving as James Taylor. In my book, he will go down in history as the greatest singer of popular musics to have ever lived.
