Hey everyone! The planning committee (Jerry Qin, Serena Lynn, Carmina Portea, Jillian Wang, and Gabriel Balanza) are excited to see you all at our 10 year reunion tomorrow!
As a reminder, the 10 year reunion will be held at Nova Brewery in Covina and we'll have the venue all to ourselves from 8pm - 11pm.
Getting to the brewery is a bit tricky especially when using Google Maps so please follow the instructions that were also included in an email sent today if you bought a ticket:
Driving Directions: (ie... "how do I find this place?")
1.) Find yourselves driving East-bound on W. San Bernardino Rd. until you see this sign that says "Nova Brewing" then turn right! (see 1st image below), for g-maps view (see 2nd image below from G-maps. )
2.) Once you turn right in, you will drive forward 25ft, until you encounter a locked gate. Once you arrive here, you will need to do the speak-easy part of this journey and
call this number [ 626-388-9949]
Question: You will be asked why you are here and a secret password!
Reply: You will say: .... "I'm here for the walnut high school reunion and the password is melon!"
3.) If you do the above 2 correctly, you will be allowed in. Once the gate opens, please pull in and you will find parking by driving all the way down to the end of the industrial park. (if you are arriving a bit late and the spots are taken. You may also pull around to the left alleys and there will be additional parking.) The overall lot only has 50 car slots and we have 70+, so we highly recommend everyone to carpool or uber/lyft if it is within your means to do so, both for safety after consuming alcohol and parking spaces.
4.) Once you arrive, please find the cute entrance below! We will be there to check you in and give tickets to be redeemed for 1-free drinks (anything from the menu). Sadly, plus-1s will have to buy their own drink. But we've worked out a deal w/ the venue and everyone will get a solid discount on drinks this evening.
The brewery serves sake, wine, and beer and we'll provide some food as well. But we definitely recommend eating before attending as the sake can be strong.
We'll also have a photo booth, games with prizes, and live DJing!
