Eight Walnut Creek Surf players had the opportunity to represent Surf Select National teams at the Target USA Cup, competing against top competition from across the country and around the world.

Tournament highlights:
• Jessica, Leila, and Lauren helped the 2014G Surf Select National White team capture the Target USA Cup Championship with a 2-0 victory in the final.
• Jaxon, Cruz, Nabi, and Connor represented the 2012B Surf Select National White team, finishing as tournament finalists after an outstanding run and a hard-fought 2-1 championship match. Congratulations to Jaxon on being named team captain.
• Ricardo and the 2014B Surf Select National White team advanced to the semifinals, narrowly falling 2-1.
Congratulations to all eight players for representing Walnut Creek Surf with commitment, teamwork, and pride. We are excited to see them bring this experience back to our club.

Our U16G White kicked off the season in style, going 4-0 to win the Bend Premier Cup.
2-0 vs. Medford
2-1 vs. Seattle
2-0 vs. Portland
3-1 vs. Bend in the championship match
Four matches. Four wins. Nine goals scored. Just three conceded.
An incredible team performance from start to finish, capped off with a fun night together watching Argentina play in Bend. A weekend these girls won’t forget.
