Mental Health Doesn't Happen in Isolation
At Swift Mind Care, I work with a functional and integrative approach. That means we don't just look at a diagnosis or a symptom in isolation—we look at the whole picture.
What you're experiencing may be shaped by nervous-system regulation, sleep, stress, trauma, neurodivergence, sensory overload, movement, nutrition, relationships, environment, medications, and so much more. Many struggles have layers.
Therapy is still therapy. My role as a clinical social worker is to offer genuine psychotherapy and help you understand the patterns in your emotions, behavior, relationships, and lived experience. But when something suggests physical health may also be at play, we collaborate with other providers rather than expecting one person to do everything.
For autistic and ADHD adults especially, this approach isn't about "fixing" neurodivergence or making you more neurotypical. It's about understanding what actually helps *your* brain and nervous system work better—reducing unnecessary stress, building capacity, and creating a life that fits who you are.
The goal isn't fewer symptoms. It's better understanding of the whole person, and care that responds to what you actually need.
That's neuroaffirming. That's functional.
