Join the Town of Wallingford as we come together to honor and remember on the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001.

📅 Friday, September 11, 2026
🕙 10:00 a.m.
📍 In front of Wallingford Town Hall

All residents are invited to attend Wallingford’s 9/11 Remembrance Ceremony as we remember those who lost their lives, honor the heroes who answered the call and reflect on the lasting impact of that day.

The ceremony will include the Posting of the Colors, student speakers from Lyman Hall High School and Mark T. Sheehan High School, along with other special tributes.

In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held in the Robert F. Parisi Town Council Chambers.

We hope you will join us for this meaningful morning of remembrance and reflection. 🇺🇸

This event is proudly sponsored by the Wallingford Fire Department, Wallingford Police Department and the Public Celebrations Committee.

Wallingford! 👍

If you want to retire in New England, consider that smaller town in Connecticut, for example, can be more comfortable than a national metropolis like Boston.
