On Behalf Of Whitman African Students' Association, I'd like to say a very big thank you to everyone who made our event a success. Thank you to our co sponsors WEB and the IC, Kyle Martz our advisor, Bon App, Sound and Lights crew, volunteers, models, the Ghanaian drumming class, Schwa and T-Tones, Jane Boyenneh,Walla Walla University, and last but not least everyone who attended the event. Without all these people, we wouldn't have had such a memorable show. I personally want to thank the club members for being very dedicated and staying together till the end. I would not wish to have worked with any other group but you all.

Hey guys. We are going to start back with the countries of the week! This week’s country is Nigeria. Nigeria is located in West Africa on the Gulf of Guinea. Nigeria has a population of of 173.6 million people, the largest country population in all of Africa. The Capital city is Abuja. The official language of Nigeria is English, however they speak three different main languages depending on which region of the country you are in. The currency that is used is the Naire. The president’s name is Muhammadu Buhari.

Question of the week: What year was Nigeria’s Civil War? - The first person to message the WASA page with the correct answer will get a special Nigerian snack!
