Free pool passes for City youth are back for 2026! For kids ages 17 and under who live within Grand Rapids City limits, GR Parks and Recreation will provide a free 2026 season pool pass as long as they are signed up before 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 25.
From working on their swim skills to cooling off with friends or making new ones, City pools offer a safe, fun place to play all summer long.
Parents and guardians, you can join in, too! Affordable season passes for adults are available now. Sign up the whole household and make the most of summer together!
📅 Registration opens: 8 a.m. on Monday, April 13
📅 Registration closes: 11:59 p.m. on Monday, May 25

Cards may be picked up during a designated pick-up night in May or at a City pool during your first visit. Follow on Facebook and Instagram to learn when the pick-up nights will happen.
2026 Pool Policy Updates
• Any ID card that includes a name, photo, and barcode may be connected to an account instead of a pool pass card.
• One free pool pass card will be provided per registrant. Replacement cards are $5 each.
• Children ages 11 and under will need to have an adult with them in order to access the pools. Ages 12 and above may enter without an adult.

Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation uses your Facebook or Google account to login or sign up. We only access your name and email for login purposes.

🌞 We're looking for Camp Aides to assist in our Summer Day Camp this year! Camp Aides volunteer one or more weeks in the summertime, working outdoors alongside our Camp Educators, developing leadership skills and sharing their love of nature with campers!

🙋This volunteer opportunity is available to teens ages 13-18. Camp Aides can earn a weekly stipend and/or log community service hours through this opportunity.
