POP ART ✨
Summer days call for Pop Art Pops!
Sometimes the best thing about art is that it doesn’t have to look realistic. These pops were out of this world 🌏 in the best way possible✨
Wildcrafted is where creativity runs wild and glitter is basically a love language.
We’re a Bergen County studio offering kids’ camps, unforgettable birthday parties, BYOB craft nights for grown-ups, and hands-on workshops for every wild child at heart.

Summer isn’t over yet!
We’ve been busy making messes, having fun and soaking up the last few weeks of summer creating!
Today we made Mondrian inspired prints. The best part? Seeing kids be inspired and then making it their own. We saw 3D creations popping off the page, layering techniques, and color choices that represented each kid!

Puffy paper pizza squishies!
I told the kids before we started that we were trying something new, and I meant it. I wasn’t 100% sure this would work out, but they had been tackling tricky projects all week, so I knew they could do it.
We had such a blast with this project, this may just make a return for our birthday parties.
Thanks for being the best builders this week!

Making pizzas 🍕 the crafty way!
We wrapped up our Maker Week by making 3D paper pizza squishes ✨ They glued their sauce, sprinkled their cheese, and customized their toppings.
What an amazing week we had this group! I can’t believe we only have 2 weeks of summer camp left 🎨✨

These cactuses were more than just a craft, they were a mini lesson in engineering. Kids had to build up their cactus pieces and balance the weight so they would stand up.
There were moments of ‘can you do it for me’ but those were followed by moments of ‘I did it!’. BIG moments in craft camp at WILDcrafted ✨

Maker Week! 🎨✨
Choosing crafts we make in camp isn’t easy. I’m always looking for crafts that challenge the kids to trust their own abilities and get them thinking beyond the sample project.
Today was a great project. Not because they came out amazing (they did) but because these kids rose to the challenge. Twisting the paper bag to make their tree trunk and have it stand independently proved to be tricky. Twisting the branches? Challenging because there is no right or wrong way.
The question became, do you like the way it looks? And honestly that’s my favorite question at craft camp ✨🩷🎨

Wrong hand challenge accomplished! ✅
Before campers left for the day we finished with an art challenge. You had to draw a picture but only using your non-dominant hand.
Was it a little frustrating? Yes.
But did they learn that art isn’t always about perfection and sometimes it’s about trying something new? Also, yes! And that a big WIN! ✨
Maker Week in underway!
All hands in! 👋👋👋
Kids were mixing it up this morning making some more salt dough for our projects today. Some projects require you to get really messy…and that’s the best part!
