Bomber Forensics had an awesome Saturday competing at the Clay Center invitational! Makenzye Schumm placed 6th in interpretation of poetry!

Also competing:

Isa Butler 19th in interpretation of prose and 19th in interpretation of poetry.

Ryan Irwin 13th in impromptu speaking and 30th in interpretation of prose.

Susan Tyrell 10th in extemporaneous speaking and 28th in interpretation of prose.

Lily Cloud 16th in interpretation of poetry.

Aubrey Vlasak 17th in interpretation of poetry and 9th in program of oral interpretation.

For its second tournament of the season, Bomber Forensics competed at the “David Mr. Bill Williams Forensics Invitational” in Newton, Kansas. The team competed against schools 31 schools from every division in the state. The Bombers broke two events to the semi-finals! Here are the placings:

Reece Isaac: (Semi-Finalist) Informative Speaking 8th

Aubrey Vlasak: (Semi-Finalist) Program of Oral Interpretation 8th, Oral Interpretation of Poetry 40th

Susan Tyrell: Oral Interpretation of Prose 18th

Makenzye Schumm: Oral Interpretation of Prose 19th, Oral Interpretation of Poetry 33rd

Isa Butler: Oral Interpretation of Poetry 29th

(The team is holding the Clay Center Sweepstakes trophy because the competitors bonded during the tournament and they were excited for their co-competitors.).

Yesterday Bomber Forensics competed at Republic County in the season’s first forensic tournament. Both competitors broke to finals and medaled!

Isabella Eldred: 🏅6th in Extemporaneous Speaking, 🥉3rd in Program of Oral Interpretation

Aubrey Vlasak: 🏅5th in Program of Oral Interpretation and 17th in Poetry.
