Wake Forest Homeschoolers WFHS is a support group for homeschooling families in Wake Forest, NC and surrounding areas. In addition to co-op, we hold events throughout the year.

Wake Forest Homeschoolers has many opportunities for homeschool families. We have a twice a year co-op that runs 6 weeks (typically held on Fridays). The classes are parent led and involve a variety of class topics- including, but definitely not limited to, Legos, cooking/baking, art classes, science, math, history, preschool classes, sewing, etc. We have regular park/play dates, history fairs, science fairs, geography fairs, seasonal holiday parties (Trunk or Treat, Valentine's Day, Winter/Holiday), ice cream socials, promotion/graduation celebrations, field trips, and educational opportunities, and so much more. Membership dues are $30 per year (pro-rated throughout the year). These fees cover administrative things and also fun things like ice cream socials and pizza parties! We like to meet all new members! We’d love to welcome you to Wake Forest Homeschoolers!

Now is a great time to join before our Fall Co-Op classes begin. In addition to our parent-led Friday co-op, members enjoy holiday parties, field trips, park days, teen and tween events, academic fairs, spelling bee, seasonal dances, and opportunities to build lasting friendships with other homeschooling families.

Whether you’re brand new to homeschooling or have been homeschooling for years, we’d love for you to be part of our community.

We had our end of year celebration and Graduation today! Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers so generously donated custards to all those in attendance (plus all the yummy toppings).
