Both NWHS teams competing at the Automate competition made finals and one team took home the coveted A3 Safety Award, the only judged award offered at this competition!

The A3 Robot Safety Award is a prestigious recognition that celebrates students
demonstrating an exceptional commitment to safety in robotics. By prioritizing safety in
design, construction, and operation, individuals showcase not only technical skill but also a

Our summer NWHS robotics teams traveled to Chicago today for the Automate Challenge. This early season scrimmage gave our robotics students a chance to innovate early and play the new game in a really neat environment as they were surrounded by industry experts! Great work, teams!
