As if women don’t have a hard time already with workwear and PPE on the jobsite, add in pregnancy and it’s a whole other trip.

I am so grateful to Move Over Bob | Women in Construction for the opportunity to share a bit of my story as an equipment operator 🚜 here in Hawai’i. I love what MOB is doing with their magazine. They share real tradeswomen’s 👷🏻‍♀️stories in hopes to inspire the next generation to see what’s possible. ✨

🚧Please help me share with others about Move Over Bob. Right now there’s a push in the schools for construction trades as viable career paths. I would love to see every high school📚 in the state of Hawai’i subscribe to this magazine so our young wahine can see what is possible for women in the trades.

I didn’t post much in August. I was a little busy in my personal life 😏

Got engaged to my hunnie, celebrated our anniversary and welcomed our second baby girl to the family 💕

🚧Even though I’m in a “rest” season and enjoying all this goodness from August, I still have things I’ve filmed that need to be edited and lots more I want to film and share. I also have something exciting to share, I’ll probably post about it tomorrow or early in the week. Thanks for sticking around in the meantime. I hope everyone has a prosperous September. 😎

A tuition-free job training program in Hawaii celebrated its first graduating class in construction and skilled trades Monday night, with all 10 students immediately signing job offers or entering apprenticeships. ⬇️

Posted this in my stories a few days ago, just posting it to my acct for people who might have missed it.

8/18?: I’ve got a Q&A in my IG stories right now. this question has been popping up in my DMs for the last week though so I thought I would address it.

People are asking if the interview is on the same day as the general knowledge test and when they can expect any follow up emails after they take their tests. Simply put, I don’t have that answer. They have so many people to process I just don’t think everyone’s timeline is going to look exactly the same. Be patient, check your emails, read them carefully and check your junk mail folder.

Be happy you don’t have to wait for the post office to deliver your mail at 4 in the afternoon on a random day of the week like how I did 🤣🤣🤣
