Piece of the Week- Bach Little Fugue in G minor
A fugue is a type of musical composition where a main theme is introduced all by itself at the beginning, and then other melodies are introduced and layered with the original subject.
As the piece goes on, the composer moves the subject around, weaving it between parts, and building layers—creating a rich, textured sound that feels like a puzzle coming together in music.
Here's an example of a popular Fugue, with a helpful visual!
I've also included a piano arrangement.
