The new health center at WHS is almost ready. In partnership with Hawaii Pacific Health, the center will serve the community while giving interning students experience working with health care professionals. The partnership aims to encourage students to pursue a college and career path in the health industry while also gaining ready to work experience and certification. A first of its kind in the State and an amazing opportunity for the students.

Friends of Waipahu High School supported the project with educational materials and resources from generous donations by alumni and corporate donors.

We want to cultivate relationships with alumni around the world and perpetuate the pride and legacy of our alma mater. It was a wonderful night celebrating the 85th Anniversary of Waipahu High School on 4/13/23 at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom. An evening of the past, present, and future filled with hope and opportunities for students and the community. Several of our board members had the honor of attending the blessing of the new Academy Health Center today. In partnership with Hawaii Pacific Health, the students will gain experience and skills in the healthcare industry learning side by side with health professionals while serving our community. A pathway to prepare students for the work force and college that may one day see them return to their alma mater and serve their community as future healthcare leaders. This center is another first for Waipahu High School leading the way. Go Marauders!
