The Vocal Academy Of Waco Where Artists Create Themselves The Vocal Academy of Waco is owned and operated by Kaley Caperton Dennard.

Kaley is a Singer/Songwriter & Actress with over 20 years of onstage experience. Kaley started performing on the stage at age 8 and found a love for music that never stopped growing. Over 20+ years Kaley released and co-produced numerous albums, had a publishing deal with Platinum Pen Publishing in Nashville, TN and played the lead in the feature film, "Color Me You" on Amazon Prime. Kaley was bor

n and raised in Waco, TX and calls that home still. Alongside singing on stage Kaley has done multiple tv series, live theatre performances and more. Some of Kaley's most notable work has been writing the Anthem for the National Guard Youth Foundation, the National Guard & the Texas Rangers. Kaley has 3 children and now coaches vocals and performance while also providing places for her students to perform and learn what being an artist looks like.

For years I watched my mother have an incredible relationship with Jesus. I always wondered how she did it. She has been gone now for 5 years but this last year I started my own journey of what it looks like to have a relationship with Jesus.
For so long I thought, I’m not good enough, I don’t know how, my mom was so much better than me, I had a million excuses as to why I couldn’t do it, why I wasn’t ready to change. But I was met with grace, the more I learned about Jesus the more my heart hungered to learn. This morning as I was journaling I wrote the phrase, “I want the works of my hands to be worship to you Jesus.”
Which led to a dive into what the Bible says about talent and gifts and work. I guess in my shallow thoughts that worship was mostly through music and raising your hands in church but it hit my like a ton of bricks when I read back that phrase.
Above that sentence I had written, “I want to give my best in every area of my life to honor you.” As a mom of 3, business owner, and anxiety ridden ADHD adult that is often exhausted, that’s a tall order. However, these verses help to remind me that studying, practicing an instrument, warming up my voice, teaching with kindness, showing love by being patient, using encouraging words and even kind parenting are ALL forms of worship.
