Healthy Babies is a local maternal and child health program of the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District. The goal of this initiative is to reduce existing health disparities, improve birth outcomes of mothers and babies, and improve women's health throughout the life cycle. The program’s activities are implemented through the work of the Healthy Babies Coalition (HBC). HBC is a group of dedicated community agencies that provides services to mothers and babies.

Our Story

Healthy Women & Children Waco is a local maternal and child health program of the Waco-McLennan County Public Health District. The goal of this initiative is to reduce existing health disparities, improve birth outcomes of mothers and babies, and improve women's health throughout the life cycle. The program’s activities are implemented through the work of the Healthy Women and Children Coalition (HWCC). HWCC is a group of dedicated community agencies that provides services to mothers and babies. We meet on the third Thursday of the month from 2-4pm at the Waco McLennan County Public Health District (225 W Waco Drive). To learn more or get involved, email [email protected]
