I just finished this coif live on my Twitch stream! I used Silver Anodized Aluminum rings from Chainmail Joe (specifically, the 16ga 9/32") and overall I'm pleased with how AR 4.5 rings flow as opposed to AR 4 rings.
The biggest challenge was prototyping the face window; I knew I had to taper the sides for a closed coif, but I hadn't anticipated narrowing the width afterwards. The process was a blast, though, and if you want to see it yourself, I broadcast on Twitch several days a week.
If I get enough funds to get a PO Box, I can start doing giveaways of my creations, too! I always enjoy spreading the art of any way I can, and giving some of my work back to the community that helps me be able to make it is a good way to do that. Finished this ornament after stream on Thursday night. I'm really liking the new ring size; a 4.5 AR makes expansions and contractions nearly effortless. I'll make some more for the market I plan on vending at soon, along with keychains and eyeglass holders.

I found some stainless steel rings I had lying around and made two longer keychains from it: These are twice as long as the rainbow and pride ones on offer, and would be great for any use that involves a lot of wear and tear or needs to have longer reach. I will of course be selling these as well at , and once I have more items on offer, I'll post prices up for the items I will be selling shortly. Thanks once again to for hosting the festival, and to everyone in the for accompanying me on this journey.

I asked Reddit for venues for a potential chainmail class about a month ago, and they delivered! Now I want to see if there's enough interest to justify ordering materials and booking a venue. If you're at all interested and can make it to the Waco area for a class, post here or on the linked Reddit post and I'll see about booking the venue when we have enough potential students.

After several days and much hand wringing, it's finished-the redesign of my coin capture necklace. The rings are all good anodized aluminum rings; the larger is 16ga 5/16" and the smaller ones are 18ga 1/4", both from . The coins themselves are various souvenir coins I purchased from ove the years I visited.
The final weave took a while to figure out, but I eventually went with Full Persian 6 to match the persian in the capture weave. Some of the closures admittedly aren't my best work, but this is a personal project decades in the making after several redesign works. I'm just happy to finally be finished with it.
If there's interest, I might do a tutorial on how to do the capture weave. Let me know if that's something you all want to see. Thanks to everyone for being with me along this two decade long journey of artistry and a decade of being . Hopefully there will be many more to come. Now on to my next project...
