UCLA Law Mock Trial Association

In the last weekend of March, we had two teams with murder on their minds 🔪🎶

Congratulations to our two teams who competed at the National Criminal Trial Competition in Orange County!

Team Blue emerged as FINALISTS with .galajyan (2L), (2L), (3L), and (3L) crushing the competition. Special shoutout to on winning Best Opening Statement for the whole comp!

Trailing them as Semifinalists by half a ballot was Team Gold. Congratulations to (2L), .e.penn (2L), .schaefer (2L), and (3L). Special shoutout to for NEVER losing a mock trial round in college.

What a weekend!

This is the fifth year AAJ has allowed schools to qualify two teams to Nationals. UCLA has had 9 teams reach the National Quarterfinals. No other school has had 5.

This year, UCLA continued that trend. Both teams made the playoffs.

Congratulations to .judd (2L), (3L), (1L!!), and ._wallace (1L!!) for making it to the FINAL ROUND of AAJ Nationals, losing out on the championship by a single ballot. We are so proud of this talented squad.

Also special shoutout to (3L), .parker27 (3L), (3L), and (2L) with a stellar showing in the playoffs, making Quarterfinalists. The Bruins showed up 🐻.

Thank you to coaches Justin Bernstein, Jack Eyers, Sarah Stebbins, and Enrico Trevasani for bringing the best out of these students.
