🌿 Palm Sunday Reminder 🌿

What does “Hosanna” mean?

👉🏽 It means “Save us.”

A cry for salvation.
A plea for rescue. 🙏🏽

As Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowd shouted:
“Hosanna to the Son of David!”

But here’s the truth…

The same crowd that praised Him
also struggled when He didn’t move
the way they expected.

And if we’re honest…
we can do the same.

We cry, “Lord, save us!”
—but do we trust Him when His answer
doesn’t look like what we had in mind?

Do we still call Him Savior
when His way is different than ours?

✨ Hosanna isn’t just a shout—
it’s a surrender.

Last week during Spring Break 2026, Young Bible Readers had the opportunity to help create and lead the lesson experience for Kids’ Night Out at Waco Sovereign Grace Baptist Church 💛

Our theme was: “Let Your Light Shine – You Were Made to Shine” ✨ (Matthew 5:16)

We designed two custom, Young Bible Readers templates for the kids to use throughout the night:
📖 A lesson + reflection page
✍🏽 A hands-on prayer journal assignment

Each station (painting, creating, and journaling) was intentionally connected to scripture, helping the children not only have fun—but truly understand how to shine their light in their everyday lives.

What made this so special is that the kids didn’t just hear the lesson…
👉 They experienced it
👉 They wrote it
👉 They created it

This is what Young Bible Readers is all about—making God’s Word engaging, practical, and meaningful for children 💚

✨ We’re excited to share these templates with our families!

March is Women’s History Month, a time to teach children about the women who helped shape our world.

Books are one of the most powerful ways to introduce young readers to courage, leadership, and perseverance. These are a few books I love sharing with my students to help them learn about inspiring women in history. 📚

At Young Bible Readers, we believe raising readers today helps raise leaders tomorrow.

Kindness isn’t random — it’s a reflection of Christ. 💛
Today we celebrate Random Acts of Kindness Day, but as believers, kindness is something we practice every day.
“Be kind to one another…” – Ephesians 4:32

Let’s raise children who shine through kindness.

Happy Valentine’s Day, Young Bible Readers 💖

In our classroom and in our hearts, we are reminded that God’s love is the greatest love of all. Long before we exchange cards or candy, God showed His love for us by sending His Son.

“We love because He first loved us.”
– 1 John 4:19

May you always remember that you are deeply loved, chosen, and valued — not just today, but every single day. 💕

This is a reminder we want every child to know:
No matter what the world says, God calls you worthy.

Let’s teach our children to listen to God’s voice louder than the noise around them.

God sees you.
When the world tries to label you, laugh at you, or make you feel small—remember this truth:
✨ You are made in the image of God.
✨ You have dignity, value, and purpose.
✨ You are deeply loved.
