Dear Parents and Families,

At the Just for Kix Spring Dance Performance Sunday, May 10th at 3pm, The E.C.F.E. Advisory Council Board will be selling flowers, water, and candy bars as a fundraiser for Cottontail Time free/reduced tuition fund. This will help raise money to support a family that may need assistance for their child’s tuition. The free/reduced lunch program is offered to families K-12 and is also offered to School Readiness children for free/reduced tuition. Unfortunately, Cottontail Time is a community education class that does not receive state funding to offer the free/reduced option. This will be a great way to help out our community and Wabasso Public School and its Early Childhood Education Department.

You may pre-order flowers by emailing Amber Beadell, they will also be available to purchase the day of for your special DANCER(S)!!

Pre-orders will ensure you receive a flower.

v Water- $1

They will be sold prior to the start of the program.

The Fee to get into the show is

And free for children not in school

There are going to be three different special sessions offered.

• Father daughter
Ages 2nd- 6th graders
Class tuition fee of $29.00
Start Thursday, April 2nd from 7:00-7:30

• Mother daughter
Ages preschool- 1st grade
Class tuition fee of $29.00
Start Thursday, April 2nd from 6:30-7:00

• Mommy and me
Ages 18 months- 3 years old
Class tuition fee of $27
Start Tuesday, April 7th from 4:30-5:00

You can come to the first practice, and we can take care of the registration.
A non-refundable annual registration fee of $14.00

PARTICIPANT WRISTBANDS
Directors will receive wristbands for paid participants, which will be distributed the day of competition. Dancers will not be able to participate the day of competition without the wristband.

ADMISSION
$6.00 adults $3.00 students
Dancers competing do not pay admission at the door.

HAIR/UNIFORM
Uniform is the same as for all performances. Changing areas are limited so it is best to arrive in uniform with hair and make-up done. Hair up in a tight bun! Make up includes blush and red lipstick. Make sure your hair is VERY NEAT and styed like your team.

Location reminder Last year is was in St. Cloud. We were not able to get into the same location so it will be at the Sauk Rapids/Rice High school right next to St, Cloud. We do plan in staying in St. Cloud. It is only a 15 minute drive from St. Cloud to Sauk Rapids.

We will have an assigned meeting place to gather. Please meet in our assigned meeting area an hour before the dancers scheduled performance. Our meeting area is Not available. You can also ask at admission when you arrive. Please remember to bring minimal personal belongings, items left in the meeting area are done so at your own risk. Put everything in one bag; label it with your name and town.
Make a plan with your dancer to meet back at our meeting area following the awards for pictures.

MESSAGE TO THE PARENTS
Competition day is an exciting and high-adrenaline day. At this point in the dance season the dancers are still working on polishing and mastering new skills—which adds to the adrenaline! As always, this will be a tough competition. I have prepared the dancers for that fact, but sometimes I think you the parents need to be prepared for that as well. We are biased to your kids. I like to stress to our dancers to do their best, display good sportsmanship, earn something new and enjoy the day! That’s what I try to do too! Thanks for your support of your dancers!!! TWD Eastview Fees! – The TWD fee will be $10.00 per competition. I am letting you know that the Eastview TWD, and Sauk Rapids #2 Entry Fees have been billed into your dancers accounts. You can pay at www.justforkix.com/students - go to the Statement page to select those items.
This needs to be done before competition day, or your dancer will not be able to perform!
* Also make sure you are up to date with monthly fees, this can also allow your dancer to be ineligible to perform at competition.

Extra Practice
It was an unexpectedly long break!
IT IS NOW TIME TO START DANCING AGAIN!!!!

Wee Kix 2nd- 3rd grade, Wee petites 1st - K, and Tiny Kix Preschoolers- 3 yr olds.
Make up sessions are rescheduled, please mark your calendars!

Extra Practice!!

Please be aware of the information details being sent home with dancers on Thursday. We have a lot of ground to make up, and I want to make sure you are getting what you paid for. I can't wait to get back to practice, I just want to DANCE :)

Wabasso Just For Kix parents and guardians! Due to our lovely winter weather here in Minnesota I had to cancel tonight’s classes. These classes will be rescheduled and made up! There will be no charge for the make-up classes as they will balance out January’s monthly fee.

I will be escaping this crazy Minnesota weather for two weeks and I will try (no promises) to bring back warmer weather. Please be aware that this year’s break is longer than past years for the younger students. Brenna Rubindal will be practicing with the Mini and Middle Kix groups while I am gone (these are make up for previously canceled classes). They will be practicing at normal time Tuesday, January 13th and Thursday, January 22nd.

Wee Kix, Wee Ptites, and Tiny Kix have lucked out and have not had any canceled classes ……….until now! We will be practicing extra in April and May. Classes will be made up on Monday April 20th, Thursday May 7th, and Friday, May 8th.

TWD Together We Dance (Mini and Middle Kix)
JFK Competition
Competition season is almost among us! Below I have included the date of the competitions we will be attending for the year of 2015! I am excited to start perfecting our dances and getting the dancers competition ready! I also want to make sure you the parents understand everything that goes into TWD’s. We will talk more about this at our mandatory meeting January, 20th 2015. Please let me know if you will be unable to attend this meeting! We will meet while the dancers practice, it should take 15-20 minutes. We will talk about TWD’s and the expectations and rules and regulations so everyone can understand what an amazing experience your dancer is getting involved in. Even if you are not new to competitions I still need you to be there. This information is crucial and needs to not be overlooked.
I have hotel rooms blocked, I will give more information about these hotels at this meeting! There is no need to make reservations, because I have rooms saved for you.

For those of you who don’t know I will be leaving the country. I leave Friday January 9th and will not be home until January 24th. I will be visiting my exchange sisters. If you have any concerns while I am gone please contact Brenna Rubindal at 507-530-4419. The dancers will be practicing on perfecting their competition dance along with learning a fun new light routine.
