🎶✨ A first-place performance!

Somerset Junior High Mariachi student Kenya Garza showcased her incredible vocal talent at the Voz de la Paloma competition, earning first place and a $300 prize! 🏆🎤

We are incredibly proud to see Kenya’s hard work, confidence and passion for music recognized through this outstanding achievement. Congratulations, Kenya, and thank you for representing Somerset ISD Fine Arts with such excellence!

Ready for some Homecoming/Parade fun!

Homecoming is right around the corner! This year's theme is: "Fun, Frights, & Friday Night Lights!" We will he posting details in the first comment with ideas on how to decorate your vehicles and floats, as far as color schemes and themes. The parade falls on Halloween morning and the entire weekend will be filled with fun and plenty of music and activities. Please call City Hall during office hours at 830-701-4100 for vendor information. Stay tuned for more info and an event page with all the details. We look forward to spending Halloween with our amazing community!

We are incredibly proud of our Somerset ISD campuses and the significant gains reflected in this year’s Texas Education Agency Accountability Ratings!

Our campuses earned a cumulative total of 24 Distinction Designations, reflecting the hard work, dedication, and commitment across our entire district. 🏆

But these numbers are about so much more than ratings. They represent students learning and growing, teachers inspiring, administrators leading, staff supporting, parents partnering, and a community that continues to believe in our Bulldogs.

The TEA Accountability Ratings measure student and campus performance across three key areas: Student Achievement, School Progress, and Closing the Gaps. Together, these measures provide a broader look at how well schools are serving students and preparing them for future success.

Today, we celebrate the progress. Tomorrow, The Journey Continues.
