We aim to nurture each child's natural desire to grow and learn, and are not the judges of their success but rather are guides to show the way. The children grow to be independent and self-motivating, gaining a strong sense of who they are and confidence in their abilities.

✨ New Year, New Adventures ✨
We’ve officially welcomed our little ones who moved up this year, and oh my goodness… they are thriving. Watching them step into their new environment with confidence, curiosity, and so much joy has been the sweetest way to start the year.

From muddy play to big movements to quiet concentration at their work trays, they’re already showing us how capable, creative, and eager to learn they are. Montessori gives them the space to explore, make choices, and follow their interests and they are taking off.

Here’s to a year of independence, discovery, and all the beautiful moments we get to witness as they grow. Our hearts are full. 💛🌱

✨ Big Toddler Energy: Montessori Style ✨

Our toddlers were on the move today taking a neighborhood walk, stretching those big muscles, and practicing all the coordination that makes their little bodies feel strong and capable. Watching them step up curbs, balance on uneven ground, and carry their treasures with such determination is the purest Montessori magic to witness!

Back inside, they shifted right into tiny hand work, experimenting with playdough squishing, rolling, poking, and discovering what their hands can create. These early sensory explorations build focus, independence, and confidence, all while keeping things wonderfully playful.

It’s amazing how much learning happens in these simple moments: big movements outdoors, fine motor work indoors, and joyful curiosity everywhere in between. Our toddlers are busy becoming themselves, one adventure at a time 💛

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Viroqua Childcare Cooperative booth at the Farmers Market. It was a beautiful day and we truly enjoyed connecting with everyone and watching the children play.

✨ Montessori Preschool Lunch Time ✨

Our preschoolers have been thriving during lunch lately because Montessori isn’t just about learning letters and numbers, it’s about learning to care for themselves with confidence. Watching them serve their own food, use real tools, and make thoughtful choices is such a beautiful reminder of how capable they truly are.

Today’s meal was full of high protein fuel to keep their bodies strong and their minds focused. And the sweetest part? They genuinely love their veggies. From cucumbers, melons and much more, they explore textures, colors, and flavors while practicing independence and grace.

There’s something magical about seeing preschoolers take ownership of their meal, help themselves, and enjoy every bite. Montessori builds independence one small moment at a time, and lunch is one of our favorite places to see it shine 💛

Summer is almost waving goodbye, but wow… did our school agers make it unforgettable. ☀️💛 From building epic creations to teaming up like the world’s tiniest dream team, they used every ounce of imagination they had and then found more. Their group projects turned into adventures, their ideas turned into masterpieces, and their laughter filled every corner.

We had SO much fun with them this summer. Here’s to big imaginations, brave builders, silly moments, and all the magic they brought with them. Onward to the next chapter but we’re keeping these memories forever. ✨🌈

✨ Montessori Moments in Motion ✨

Today our tiny humans were busy being brilliant.
From careful pouring to colorful stamping, from stacking animals to sudsy hand washing, their little hands were hard at work exploring independence, creativity, and all the joy that comes with learning by doing.

There’s something magical about watching toddlers choose their work with such focus… then dive in with giggles, curiosity, and the occasional paint covered finger. These everyday moments are where confidence grows, coordination blossoms, and their personalities shine bright.

We’re so proud of these little explorers every pour, every print, every splash, every stack. Montessori magic looks good on them 💛
