Mrs. “G” is an incredible asset to Diamond Springs! She is a a superstar Kindergarten Teacher Assistant and wears many hats around the building. We appreciate her consistent positive attitude and hard work!

Wow! Spring is blooming at Diamond Springs!
We are beyond grateful for all of the volunteers who have spents hours supporting our garden by weeding, cleaning up, adding more rocks, and building new garden beds!

We are almost ready to begin planting seeds and creating an outdoor space for our students to discover the beauty of gardening and science!

Kindergarten and first grade students are exploring how to code a robot! This robot uses a light sensor to determine the direction it goes!

How can you help at home? Encourage your child to use left and right!

Students had the chance to go to our courtyard to participate in a story walk provided by the Virginia Beach Public Library! A story walk is where pages of a book are posted around an area to read.

We read Peter Reynold’s I am Human!

Did you know that there is a permament story walk located on the walking path next to our school? Check out this rotating story walk all year long!

Our students were treated with a special surprise today, the Richmond Ballet! We watched them perform Sleeping Beauty and learned all about ballet, storytelling, and dreams! We even got to perform with them!
