Virginia is for Scholars.
People across Virginia are studying for nursing exams, construction licenses, IT certifications, graduate degrees, and entirely new careers. They are balancing work, family, and responsibilities while quietly putting in the hours to move their lives forward.
But many of these learners do not have a dedicated place to study. No campus library. No quiet environment designed for focus.
That is the problem Tenderfoot Co. is working to solve.
We are building Scholars Studios, focused study environments designed for modern learners pursuing academic and professional goals.
Right now we are working toward launching our pilot space, it's tiny but mighty and a start to place where students can walk in, sit down, and study in a space built specifically for them.
Because Virginia really is for scholars.
And we cannot wait to welcome YOU.

Warrior-Scholar Project is the type of organization our Co -Founder, Darren Brown, wished he had known about while on active duty.
They are a national nonprofit organization that helps enlisted veterans and active duty service members transition from the military into higher education and beyond.
They do this through boot camps that focus on three disciplines: college readiness, STEM, and business. Participants spend a week on campus as part of a small cohort of 15 other veterans, where they stay in the dorms, eat in the dining halls, and experience firsthand the daily rigors of an undergraduate college degree program free of charge. They attend lectures by esteemed professors at each host institution and engage in an intense week of study and learning under the guidance and mentorship of WSP Fellows, veterans who have completed a WSP boot camp and successfully transitioned into higher education.
Warrior Scholar Project is currently accepting interest forms and applications for its 2026 summer academic boot camp programming.
