We want to give a huge THANKS to Shining Light Homes for allowing us to assist them with there first every baby shower with four beautiful moms-to-be! The founder, Patti Hall Johnson, has a passion to help single mothers during and after the delivery to not just make it in this world but excel and be the best mothers that they can be! When she spoke to the mothers to be today she literally had us in tears. If you are looking to give back to the community in any way please reach out to them. Donations are always accepted and they will even come pick them up!

Thanks to our very own Boss Lady Davaline Arrington Perry for making sure we was apart of this event today! It blessed us more than the mothers to be! Keep being the true beacon of light in the community that you are! 😘

Local organization gives back to Norfolk community through care bags for homeless The bags included snacks, toiletries, hygiene products. They called them care bags of love.

We would like to thank everyone for all the donations and the shares for our community care bag giveaway! We provided over 70 bags of goodies to residents in Norfolk. Channel 13 contacted us and wanted to tag along and get some footage of us .....so check us out at 6pm!!!

Tormorrow at 1:30pm we will be passing out care bags to the community in Norfolk! Now it’s time to put them all together..... Let’s Go!

This Christmas Eve we loaded up the sleigh and dropped off gifts and food items to 18 children. The smiles on the children faces as they received the gifts from their incarcerated loved ones brought us so much joy! It truly takes a village to raise our youth and we will not let them down.

Buffalo’s and Buffette’s job well done! It takes each and everyone of us to get the community give back done! Everyone enjoy your Christmas! 🎄🎁🎄

Happy Christmas Eve Everyboddddyy!!! We are up helping Santa wrap gifts and goodie bags for our special angels who have lost a parent to the justice system. Regardless of the situation the child has been negatively affected and it’s not their fault. Our organization tries to step in and help the parents with the needs of the children from their school needs, birthdays, and Christmas.

Mrs. Perry is amazing and never wants to be in the spotlight but she does so much for this organization. She makes our group look so organized and amazing! She is the person behind the scenes that gets things done and makes sure we are out in the community spreading ❤️. We thank you Boss Lady!

The Chesapeake's day support center is located at 1468 S. Military Hwy at intersection with Old Greenbrier. They serve breakfasts and lunches to about 15 homeless people a day. If interested in volunteering or donating, you can stop by for a visit and tour. They are currently open from 7-7, Monday to Friday.
