Just popping in to wish you all a wonderful and happy Wednesday!
…and to give you some questions to ponder:
▪️What are you holding tightly onto that is actually out of your control?
▪️Where in your life have you resorted to feeling powerless even though you might actually have agency?
▪️What or whom can you take a moment and express gratitude for? And how might that shift your perspective today?
Lift your Eyes Up, friends. Be well. ❤️🔥

… or makes you smile?
… or makes you laugh?
… or helps give you rest?
… and breathe deeply?
… and exhale slowly?
Make it a priority to seek that out today. And be present enough to enjoy it.

Don’t let your fear of what you don’t know keep you paralyzed; begin to take the steps you know you need to take. I promise: your fear of the unknown on the other side of that choice you’re avoiding is worse than the actual journey itself.
With each step forward comes a plan and a vision for your next step. And while fear may still be present, and even may change shape as you continue taking steps, it is assuaged in the face of purpose and vision.
You’ve got this, friends. Take that next step.

strength - ✅
flexibility - ✅
balance - ✅
perseverance - ✅
These are all disciplines necessary for living healthy, well-rounded lives, and sometimes we go through seasons where they’re all tried and tested at the same time.
This is one of those times for me. 😳🥴
Some days I feel stronger than others; some days, balance is easier to find and maintain; occasionally, I find myself feeling rigid and inflexible (and, consequently, frustrated and turned inward). I have to remember to extend kindness and compassion towards myself in each of these moments (as well as the quiet moments in between), because despite how I am feeling right now, I know that at the core of who I am, I am strong, and balanced, and flexible, and resilient.
Wherever you find yourself on this Tuesday morning, remember to show yourself compassion, to breathe deeply, and to thank yourself for doing the work to be present right here, right now, right where you are.

Your teen might look and sound like an adult—they may even act and think like an adult sometimes! But their brains won’t be fully wired and matured until their mid- to late-20s.
This means that sometimes their choices and behavior don’t make sense, and can send us parents into a tailspin, trying to figure out where we went wrong or why our child is suddenly totally unreasonable.
This also means that you have an amazing opportunity RIGHT NOW to support their growth and development, ensuring that they develop the skills and healthy habits they need to thrive as independent, successful, and empowered adults.
Join me tomorrow night for a free webinar on Managing the Teenage Brain* where we will discuss all of this and so much more! I hope to see you there! eyesuplifecoaching.com/webinar

Mother.
Creator.
Comforter.
Cultivator.
Life-speaker.
Life-giver.
Confidant.
Safe-space-creator.
Protector.
Advocate.
Leader.
Sometimes I struggle with Mother’s Day because I’ve never felt like I fit the mold of what a mother “should” look like. But whatever you look like as a Mom, and whether or not you are satisfied with how you show up as Mom, know that you’re amazing, and fearless, and powerful, and enough.
Enjoy your day, Momma. Enjoy this season.
