So great to have a chance a couple of days ago to head out to Maasailand and see everyone again. It was especially great to have so many people along who, though they had never been before, were known to the community because of tour.
I asked Isack in Canada: Isack, what do you guys talk about for hours?
Isack: About home. That’s all we know, it keeps us going. We love our home.

On Vancouver island, upon seeing all the greenery, Edward had said: I bet the goats here are fat! We should bring our goats and cows here. Look at all this grass!

Reunion time: four months after the tour, we visited members of the En-kata choir. This time, on their turf- the plains of Simanjiro!
There was tons of laughter, singing and two nights of fresh goat meat under the stars, slaughtered in our honour.
There was also lots of "how is Shelley, shelley shelley? How is Natasha? How is Morgan? Where is Jacobo" (X at least 10)

The team arrived at Pamoja at 4:30am, enjoyed some chai and fatty beef, then got back on the bus to head the rest of the way home to Simanjiro. THANK YOU to everyone who came, saw, prayed, donated, hosted, fed, and blessed this Tour in dozens of other ways. May the message of hope the Maasai spoke remain with all those who heard it. Ah sante sana!!
