Race update! Due to the Nor’Easter expected this weekend the 2019 ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk Hampton Roads is turning into an indoor celebration!

Join the fun at Abbey Road Pub & Restaurant where the ZERO community will come together to support prostate cancer patients, families, and raise awareness to end this disease.

The festivities will feature a free breakfast buffet (wear your race bib if you’ve already picked up), local vendors, survivor and caregiver recognition ceremony, as well as a performance from Nashville recording artist and ZERO Spokesperson Jimmy Charles. There will also be a meet up for an untimed social run/walk for anyone who wants to go out and run/walk. Bring your family and friends, because after all, eating is more fun than running, right?

8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m.: Race Day Packet Pickup
9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.: Breakfast Buffet
9:30 a.m.: Meetup/Social Run
10:30 a.m.: Ceremony

We will still be holding early packet pick-up as scheduled for those that would like to pick up their race shirts and bibs early to wear to the celebration on Sunday, or you can pick your shirt up at the celebration on Sunday! If you pick up your bib early make sure to bring it with you on Sunday as it'll be your food ticket! And for family or friends who still want to support the mission, they can sign up during early packet pickup or on Sunday too.

Early packet pick-up is scheduled for:

Friday, November 15 from 1:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m.

Saturday, November 16 from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.

We hope you will join us on Sunday, but we’d also like to encourage you to run/walk on your own as a virtual ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk participant. All you have to do is pick a time and place that works for you and get moving. Make sure to snap a pic and share it on social media with the hashtag to let others know you’re making a difference in the fight to end prostate cancer.

We may have adjusted our plans, but it’ll still be a wonderful day to come together for our goal of Generation ZERO - the first generation of men free from prostate cancer!

The Zero Prostate Cancer Run is going green and re-using/recycling finisher medals from the last three years! At the finish line you’ll have a choice of a finisher medal from 2016, 2017 or 2018 (so if you missed a year you can add to your collection!)
