We were privileged to hear from Dr. Pugash at our November meeting. for those who were unable to attend it was very informative. The topic of discussion was the science behind Migraines, possible treatment, long term affects, and promising new research. Please feel free to post ideas and topics for future meetings. It is hoped now that we have a regular meeting place and time our numbers and support will grow.

Anyone interested is invited. Our speaker is scheduled to be Dr. Erol Liebowitz a local Psychologist. He is going to talk to us about pain management and bio feedback. Having a bad headache day, can't take much more. Here is a good place to vent!

Suffering from constant headaches and migraines can make us feel isolated from friends and family. It limits our social contact and often affects our jobs. This site is to promote support for those who feel this way and to make people more aware of what help is available. Feel free to post your own personal experiences as well as what you have found helps you. We will discuss traditional and non traditional methods and well as Natural Remedies. Suggested Reading Materials are also welcome. Please keep this site Profanity free. We want everyone to be able to view this site and feel comfortable.

Virginia Beach Headache support Group will be meeting at the Downtown Virginia Beach Library on Virginia Beach Blvd. Thursday Sept 22 from 6:30-7:30pm in the Folio Room. Headache sufferers and their support people are welcome.
