Beautiful Thibaut wallpaper we installed a few weeks ago. I love the colors.

Serena and Lily in a home office in Virginia Beach VA. It was a joy to install. This non-woven wallpaper was made well. Darker materials can show white at the seams, which depends on how it's produced. This one didn't, and the seams worked well.

Never say never...
A few years ago I said that I would never install Peel and Stick wallcovering again. It's not like traditional wallcovering at all. It sticks where you don't want it to, it can damage walls when removed, there's no guarantee it's going to stay stuck, it can be a nightmare to install. You have to have a second set of hands to do it, and it's still challenging.

I have a client who bought this Spoonflower Peel and Stick wallcovering a year ago. She intended to install it herself, decided she shouldn't attempt it, and couldn't return it. She has The Closet Factory installing shelves by the end of this week. She actually said she didn't care how it looked just please put it on the wall, sooo I said I'd give a go.

This material was purchased in several orders, 3 or 4 rolls here, and a couple there, over the past year. This product is digitally printed, and all the different runs were printed with the exact same color registry, with no shading between the different runs. The directions say to leave the seam edges overlapped by a 1/2 inch, and this left slight white edge, that can stand out. Seam placement and the hanging direction helped.

The client had a spray bottle of a product called E-Z Hang by Roman, that's supposed to help with the installation of Peel and Stick. It gave me a little slip to be able to adjust the pattern, otherwise it's almost impossible.

Even though I was able to get through it, with the help of my granddaughter Nat, I still don't recommend it.

Traditional wallcoverings are absolutely easier to install. Had this been a bathroom or kitchen I would definitely have said no.

It turned out nice and the client was thrilled. She's going to share pictures with me after the shelves go in.

We installed this beautiful Thibaut faux grasscloth last week in an older home in Norfolk.

Here are some before photos regarding the Isadore Leroy wallpaper mural installation. It can take hours to prepare for some installations. This mural was made in France, and scaled to fit the room. It was 25 panels and came with a schematic. We had to organize all the panels and see how they needed to be laid out prior to installation. Thank goodness we have a workshop where we do our prep work. This was a well made product and we loved the outcome! So did the clients!

We had a removal job where it took about 10 woman-hours for my granddaughter Nat and I to remove the old wallpaper. The walls beneath were plaster and they had some rough areas, as well as stain from the trim on the walls, that the new wallpaper wouldn't hide. We installed a liner wallpaper to give us a nicer surface for the new wallpaper. The homeowners were pleased with the results.
