💙🐾 Panther Pride was strong this morning! 🐾💙

Our dynamic father-and-son duo returned for another Friday morning of smiles, high fives, fist bumps, and positive energy! We were also excited to welcome back one of our DoorDad Volunteers of the Year and a true DoorDad veteran, who took charge of the bus line while our duo brought the fun to parent drop-off.

The addition of our Panther Pals program continues to be a huge hit with our students. Seeing familiar faces greeting our Panthers each week helps create such a positive start to the school day, and the kids absolutely love it!

We only have TWO DoorDads Fridays left this school year, and we'd love to finish strong with a full crew of volunteers.

Whether you're a parent, grandparent, alumni, community member, high school student, or college student, we'd love to have you join us for one of our final mornings of the year.

Tomorrow marks our final Student of the Month recognition for the school year before we move on to our Student of the Year celebration!

As we wrap up another amazing year, the Point O' View PTA would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to two incredible community partners who helped make these special moments even more memorable for our students.

A huge thank you to Sentara Infectious Disease Specialists for generously sponsoring our Student of the Month recognition displays and helping us celebrate the outstanding achievements of our Panthers all year long.

And an equally huge thank you to Card My Yard Virginia Beach-West for designing and creating these absolutely amazing displays that have become such a fun and inspiring part of our monthly celebrations. The excitement on students' faces when they see these signs has been priceless!

Together, you've helped us recognize hard work, character, leadership, kindness, and Panther Pride in a big way.

Hey DoorDads, MorningMoms & PantherPals! 🐾💙

Can you believe we are almost at the LAST day of school?!

I would love to invite ALL of our past DoorDad volunteers to join us for one final BIG Panther Pride sendoff on the last day of school — Friday, June 12! My hope is to have an extra-large crew there to help celebrate our students as they head into summer. ☀️

We’re planning to cover BOTH parent drop-off and the bus line with smiles, music, high fives, fist bumps, and LOTS of Panther energy! The PTA will also be providing fun little trinkets and giveaways for all of the kiddos as a special last day surprise. 🎉

Whether you volunteered once or every Friday, you helped make a difference this year — and I would absolutely love to have everyone back together one last time.

Today was extra special because we welcomed our very first Panther Pal volunteer — a fun father & son duo who jumped right in and made the morning unforgettable for our Panthers. The kids absolutely loved it! 💙🤍

As we head into this 3-day weekend, we’re especially thankful for the families, volunteers, and military community members who continue to pour into our school each week. Wishing all of our Panther families a safe and meaningful Memorial Day weekend as we honor and remember those who served. 🇺🇸
