Native oral traditions cite the first lacrosse game played between birds and mammals that teaches that the game is for EVERYONE…
Most Native peoples believe the sport was a gift from the Creator to be used for enjoyment and as medicine.
Onondaga Nation member Neal Powless, a former professional player for the Iroquois Nationals lacrosse team and a three-time collegiate All-American, says the sport is part of the Haudenosaunee creation story.
"Lacrosse is part of that story of our creation, of our identity, of who we are," Powless says. "So, when we play the game, we always say that there’s a simultaneous game going on that pleases our Creator and our ancestors are playing with us." 🌎🥍🧡

We work with you, fit into your schedule, and do whatever we can to ensure a positive experience for your location, your families, and your children. We utilize playgrounds, open field space, and gym space to accommodate our small session sizes.

Launched in 2022 by a former teacher and high school lacrosse coach, Little Laxers® is a high-energy program introducing children to fundamental lacrosse principles, such as scooping, cradling, shooting and and the basic rules of the game.
Through fun games, phrases and positive reinforcement, children will begin to experience the joy of playing lacrosse and being active. 🥍🧡
