Last call!! Support ILES by coming to Applebee's (1426 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, VA 23464) for breakfast on Saturday, May 16 from 8-10. The teachers and staff of Indian Lakes will be serving you breakfast! We will be showing you to your table, and taking your order! Breakfast includes pancakes, sausage, eggs, juice, coffee, and water! Part of your purchase comes back to Indian Lakes for school improvement projects and student activities. We hope to see you there!

The Spring Carnival is only a few weeks away!! Please join us on Friday, May 8th from 6:00pm-8pm for some family fun. Students must be accompanied by an adult (No Drop-offs). Kona Ice will be available to purchase. We can't wait to see you all there!

Our Tye Dye Event on Friday was a hit! We even got a special visit from School Board Member Sharon Felton! Thanks to everyone who came out!

ILES is looking for volunteers for Career Day and Field Day on April 24, 2026! If you are interested in helping, please sign up using the links provided for each event. Volunteers may choose the morning session, afternoon session, or both.

Session Times:

Morning Session: 9:15 – 11:45 AM
Afternoon Session: 12:30 – 3:00 PM

Lunch will be provided for all of our amazing volunteers as a small thank-you for supporting our school community. If we experience rain, we have a makeup date scheduled for May 1, 2026.

Hey Thunrderbirds!! Don’t forget our tie dye event is this coming Fri-YAY!! 🙌. 530-7pm in the school parking lot! 🅿️

Please bring a pre washed white t shirt to the event! It is free to attend but we do ask that you register a head of time!

🚨 If you are new to this event- PLEASE NOTE: there is a 20 minute soak time in the soda ash🚨 we do use professional dye and this this ensures the color stays vibrant.

Design ideas and rubber bands are provided!
