Dorm Fairies nonprofit helps Hampton Roads students transition to college Since 2019, Dorm Fairies has supported 215 college students with over $80,000 in awards for dorm room essentials.

This beautiful picture makes my heart sing. It exemplifies sending off your child/grandchild on their college journey. The joy, hope and pride you have for them is enormous and special. I look back at my own college journey and remember my grandmother’s happiness when I started college. Her handwritten encouraging letters and phone calls that lifted my spirits, just when I needed positivity. Let’s continue to spread joy to students and their families, as they begin their own unique college journeys.
