Food for thought…. I vote for being a “neglected” kid vs over parented.
As a Parent of teens once upon a time I never tracked them and I never let them have a smart phone until their 18th . Flip phone to talk and text - no SM . They got a taste of my childhood freedoms ….. they thank me now….

Psychology Says ’60s and ’70s Kids Didn’t Become Emotionally Strong From Better Parenting. They Learned to Self-Regulate Through Daily Neglect A generation praised for toughness may have been shaped by something far less comforting: the everyday absence adults rarely admit mattered.

Another example of how teenagers shld rule the world! Always willing to help the community with a smile!!!!
