Hi there. What's new? Life over here has been heavy lately. Not because anything is wrong per se, but because managing my mental health generally comes in an ebbing and flowing of seasons. I'm a human doing human life. The. whole. damn. thing. Seasonal depression, switching up meds, weekly nervous system sessions with my therapist, helping 3 young kids stay (sometimes) regulated, trying to breathe life into my marriage, serving my incredible clients, keeping up my friendships, volunteering at the school, etc... It can be a lot. Did I mention the needy dog that never leaves my side?! π
Often, when I'm not feeling like a shining example of a thriving life, it can be intimidating to show up in a place like this--where I want to be adding value and meaningful perspective. But that's just the "perfect" lie rearing its ugly old head. I don't think thriving and struggling are mutually exclusive. Being a coach doesn't mean I've got everything figured out. I'm incredibly good at what I do BECAUSE I'm in the trenches with my people, not in spite of it.
Healing and thriving can only happen in community. So thanks for being part of mine. It's an honor to do this human thing alongside you. ~Naomi
P.S. You're doing better than you think you are. ππ€
