Last night the Vidor Pirate boys basketball season came to an end.

After traveling to Broaddus, Texas to face off against the Bullard Panthers. It was a hard fought game where the Pirates were trailing by 2 points at the half. After another two physical, back and forth quarters the Pirates fell to the Panthers by 8 points.

Final:
Pirates - 47
Panthers - 55

Another season down and another year our boys left it all out on the floor. Thank you to everyone who supported our Boys and team for the past 4 months. Despite the ups and downs the boys found ways to compete and prevail in the face of adversity.

The boys close out district with a loss to the Silsbee Tigers tonight to end the year 6-6 in district play.

The Tigers came out on fire and our boys did their best to try and slow them down. Unfortunately, the boys took a 22 point lost.

Final:
Pirates - 57
Tigers - 79

Despite the rough stretch our boys were able to secure a spot in the playoffs for the 3rd year in a row! This is an amazing accomplishment, as this is the first time in school history we have been able to make it to the post season for 3 consecutive years! Our boys have worked hard all season and their work has paid off.

Huge win tonight for the Pirates and our seniors!

The Vidor Pirates celebrated our seniors tonight before taking on the Lumberton Raiders. The Raiders put up a good fight but our boys were able to hold them off for a good 8 point win!

Final Score:
Pirates - 49
Raiders - 41

The pirates face off against the Silsbee Tigers this coming up Tuesday in the final game of district play!
