En University Preparatory, siempre buscamos maneras de abrir puertas y crear oportunidades para nuestros estudiantes. Hoy queremos pedir el apoyo de nuestra maravillosa comunidad Jaguar para dos importantes iniciativas: nuestro Fondo de Becas para Estudiantes de Último Año y nuestro Programa de Música.

At University Preparatory, we are always looking for ways to open doors and create opportunities for our students. Today, we’re asking our wonderful Jaguar community to help us support two important opportunities: our Senior Scholarship Fund and our Music Program.
🎓 Support Our Senior Scholarship Fund
Our goal is to continue awarding eight $500 scholarships to the winners of our Senior Presentation Competition. Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps us continue this special tradition and invest in the future of our graduating Jaguars.
🎶 Give the Gift of Music
Do you have a musical instrument in good, playable condition that is no longer being used? Consider donating it! Your instrument could give a student who may not be able to afford to rent or purchase one the opportunity to learn, grow, discover a talent, and experience the joy of music.

Estimadas familias de University Preparatory:
Agradecemos sinceramente a todos los estudiantes y padres de familia que hoy se aseguraron de seguir correctamente el código de vestimenta durante nuestro Jean Day. ¡Gracias por su apoyo y cooperación! ❤️🐾
Desafortunadamente, hoy tuvimos un número muy alto de estudiantes cuya vestimenta no cumplía con el código establecido para Jean Day. Esto ocasionó retrasos, ya que varios estudiantes tuvieron que esperar por un cambio de ropa antes de poder presentarse a sus clases.
Por esta razón, hemos tomado la decisión de CANCELAR el próximo Jean Day programado para el viernes 28 de agosto.
Tomaremos algunas semanas antes de volver a ofrecer otro Jean Day para darles a nuestros estudiantes la oportunidad de familiarizarse mejor con el código de vestimenta y comprender claramente las expectativas establecidas. Nuestro deseo es poder retomar esta actividad muy pronto y que todos nuestros estudiantes puedan disfrutar de este privilegio de manera responsable.

👖⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTICE – AUGUST 28 JEAN DAY CANCELED
Dear University Preparatory Families,
We sincerely thank all of the students and parents who made sure to follow the dress code guidelines during today’s Jean Day. Thank you for your support and cooperation! ❤️🐾
Unfortunately, we had a very high number of students whose clothing did not meet the established Jean Day dress code guidelines. This caused delays, as several students had to wait for a change of clothing before they could report to class.
For this reason, we have made the decision to CANCEL the next Jean Day scheduled for Friday, August 28.
We will wait a few weeks before offering another Jean Day to give our students the opportunity to become more familiar with the dress code and clearly understand the expectations. We hope to bring Jean Day back soon so that all of our students can enjoy this privilege responsibly.
📅 IMPORTANT: If you saved or printed the activities calendar that was previously shared, please discard it to avoid any confusion. We are including the updated calendar with this message.
