I taught for 11 years, mostly in elementary and after taking what I thought was going to be a sabbatical to be my gramps' caregiver I decided I wasn't going back to public school because of the path our government is choosing to push public education. I started a professional organization business called The Room Tailor and while I am still working hard to build that business I noticed there is an
ever increasing number of parents looking for tutors and looking for help with homeschooling. I am also in the process of writing a book to help homeschooling families. It will walk parents through the process of unenrolling students, basic set up, and list concepts students should be taught. I look forward to this journey and hope that I can help people in their education journey. I am most comfortable tutoring elementary age students, so if you are able to tutor middle or high school students let me know and I can forward clients your direction that I am unable to help. I would love for this to become a place where parents, teachers, tutors, and students can come to engage and help each other.
