Senior parents, mark your calendars! Join our VHHS College Counselors for Destination: College on Wednesday, August 26 at 12:00 p.m. in the Magnolia Room at the Vestavia Hills Civic Center.

While everyone is welcome, this presentation is geared toward parents of current seniors and will provide helpful information as students begin navigating the college admissions process.

We’re settling into the school year and there’s a lot happening around campus!

Monday: Open House - 5:30 PM
Tuesday: PTO Meeting - 12:00PM
Thursday: First Pep Rally of the year & first home games for our football and volleyball teams!

Please join us in welcoming Rusty Frisch to the Vestavia Hills High School faculty!

Coach Frisch joins VHHS as a Driver's Education Teacher and 9th Grade Football, Flag Football, and Girls Golf Coach. He previously taught Physical Education at Liberty Park Middle School and he has a passion for physical fitness and helping students stay active.

SAVE THE DATE! Open House is ONE WEEK from today!

We’ll kick things off with an Athletics Meeting at 5:00 PM for parents of all athletes, followed by our General Opening Session at 5:30 PM.

Both meetings will take place in the VHHS Auditorium.

After the meetings, parents will follow their student’s schedule and have the opportunity to meet their teachers and learn more about the year ahead!

We can’t wait to see you!

We have another new face to introduce to you today! Help us welcome Lauren McDonald to the Vestavia Hills High School faculty!

Ms. McDonald will be teaching Algebra I and II at VHHS this year. She is passionate about creating a classroom where students feel confident, challenged, and supported, and she's excited to make math engaging, fun, and rewarding for every learner.
