We loved kicking off Year 1 of the Hope Leadership Academy with administrators in our Birmingham, Jacksonville, and Auburn cohorts this week! 💛

The energy in the rooms was incredible among these leaders who are committed to building cultures of character in their schools. We are so grateful to be a part of their leadership journey as well as their schools intentional focus on culture.

Character grows through intentional work, and we’re honored to walk alongside schools as they do it. 💛

Our Character Coaches have been hitting the road, visiting Hope Leadership Academy schools and partnering with educators right where the work happens. These visits are an opportunity to listen, encourage, celebrate progress, ask questions, and welcome schools to - or back to - the Hope Leadership Academy.

Because building a culture of character isn't a one-time event. It happens through consistent action, meaningful relationships, and leaders who stay committed to the journey.

We’re grateful for the incredible educators opening their doors and doing this important work. Together, we’re cultivating hope, character, and cultures where students and adults can flourish.

Multiple school visits. One shared mission: cultivate character where it matters most… in the everyday life of schools.

We may be the ones making the visits, but schools are the ones doing the work. And we’re grateful to be part of the journey!

A culture of character begins with leaders who choose to lead with intention.

This week, Liz Huntley had the privilege of joining Perry County Schools during their summer leadership retreat. Together, district leaders made a powerful commitment: to intentionally cultivate character in every student, in every school.

We're honored to partner with Perry County as they begin their Hope Leadership Academy journey and can't wait to see the impact in the years ahead.

📣 We're currently welcoming new schools to Hope Leadership Academy! If your school is ready to begin or deepen its character journey, visit the Events page on our website to learn more and register.

The journey starts with one decision, and we're here to walk alongside you every step of the way.

At The Hope Institute, we believe thriving school cultures begin with thriving teams.

This week, our staff gathered to reflect on our core values, strengthen our relationships, and prepare for the year ahead. As we look toward the 2026–27 school year, we’re committed to living out the values we encourage schools to cultivate every day.

Our word for the year is Intentional.

Intentional in how we lead.
Intentional in how we serve.
Intentional in how we build hope, character, and flourishing in every school we partner with.

We’re excited for what’s ahead! 💙
