Versailles VFW | America250 Commemoration

Join us in Versailles to celebrate the America250 on September 11th and 12th at Heritage Park. Organized by VAPPA and Versailles Alumni Association, we will offer FIREWORKS, live music, food trucks, FREE children’s activities and much more! Everyone from all communities is invited and admission is FREE! Bring your chairs and blankets and enjoy the weekend. (Carry-in coolers will not be permitted.)

On Saturday, September 12th, Heritage Park Amphitheatre at 5:00PM, the Versailles VFW Post 3849 will lead a special America250 Commemoration. Together, we will pause to honor the generations of men and women who have served and sacrificed to protect the freedoms we celebrate today—and give thanks to those who continue to serve and defend our nation.

The ceremony will feature the raising of the U.S. Flag while Logan Schulze sings the National Anthem; a presentation of colors and riffle salute by the Versailles VFW; special guest, Darke County Commissioner Matt Aultman; and guest speaker, veteran, Jason Hemmelgarn of Versailles.

We look forward to spending this special event with you while we celebrate America!
