GOALS:
Provide networking opportunities for students, and professionals to engage in diversity and gender equity in the Nursing/ EMS & Public Safety profession, practice issues, and concerns, and engage in dialogue with the aim of inspiring professional strength through redefining roles.
OBJECTIVES:
• Establish networking relationships with state and national colleagues for the exchange of ideas and practices concerning practice, leadership, and education
• Identify behavioral characteristics and treatment modalities for autistic individuals
• Share advances in practice, leadership, and education
• Support attendees in expanding their educational experience and professional development.
• Discuss health care disparities to the transgender community
• Identify common themes and develop recommendations in practice.

NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program

Apply for the 2018 NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program – we’re accepting applications through March 8, 2018

The Health Resources and Services Administration's NURSE Corps Loan Repayment Program (LRP) offers registered nurses and advanced practice registered nurses substantial financial assistance in exchange for full-time service either at a Critical Shortage Facility or an eligible school of nursing.
NURSE Corps LRP awards are subject to the availability of funds. This notice is a contingency action taken to ensure that, should funds become available for this purpose, applications can be processed and funds awarded in a timely manner. Applicants should note that this Guidance may be canceled prior to award recommendations in the absence of funding.

NURSE Corps awards scholarships and loan repayment to nurses, nursing students, and nurse faculty. By supporting these nurses, we build healthier communities across the country—especially in areas of greatest need.
