Alki staff were ready to welcome 6th graders at Kickstart yesterday! 6th graders and staff tie-dyed shirts as one of the many fun activities of the day! Parents - please don't forget to wash your child's tie-dye separately with no other clothes! We are excited to see everyone today for the official first day of school!

VPS students in grades 6-12 who do not have insurance can get a FREE sports physical this Thursday, August 21 at Fort Vancouver High School. 🎾🏈👟

Last names A-K: 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Last names L-Z: 3:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Please bring:
✍️ WIAA sports physical form with the medical history portion already completed
❕️ Signed permission slip if not accompanied by a parent or guardian
👕 Wear loose-fitting shorts and a t-shirt

Remember, all athletes must have a current sports physical before they can participate in any athletic activities—this includes tryouts, practices, and games.

If you have a new student to Alki (incoming 6th grader or brand new 7th or 8th grader), we invite to you to come to our Alki Information Night tomorrow, August 13th from 6pm-7pm. This event is intended for Parents and Guardians only and is separate from our Back to School Night which will be held on August 20th. Our Back to School Night on the 20th is for all students and parents.

6th, 7th, & 8th grade students and families! Please join us for Back to School Night on August 20th from 5-6pm. Teachers will be at their classroom doors to meet and greet students as they follow their schedules to find their classrooms and tour the building. The Front office and Business office will also be open during this time. We will have tables set up with lots of information for the 25-26 school year! Hope you can join us!
