Full circle moments. 🌿📸

Tania and I graduated High School together and hadn't seen each other since. This weekend she drove all the way from the Tri-Cities with her daughter for her senior portraits, and it felt like no time had passed at all.

Tania, watching you with Eva was so beautiful. Your love and pride for her shine through everything. And Eva, you are pure sunshine. Kind hearted, grounded, and radiant inside and out. 💛

Barefoot on the trail, ferns in hand, laughing by the creek. Thank you both for trusting me with this chapter. What a gift to reconnect in the forest like this.

Here's to your senior year, Eva. Soak in every moment. 🎓✨

Some places feel like they've been waiting for you. 🌿

Today was my first time at Cedar Creek Grist Mill and I'm still in awe. Built in 1876 and still grinding grain by waterpower, this little mill sits tucked in a mossy gorge with a covered bridge, a singing creek, ferns taller than you, and light that filters through the trees like it's being poured.

Every direction was a frame. Every step felt like walking into a fairytale of the Pacific Northwest. 💚

After 18 years of teaching Visual Arts, I know the feeling of a room that is ready to create. The quiet before the first line. The shoulders dropping. The moment someone who swore they "can't draw" looks down and sees something beautiful they made.

This year shifted what teaching looks like for me. Standing in front of this circle at Rewire & Flow, I felt it all come back. Guiding people into flow is where I feel most like myself, and this night filled my cup in a way I didn't know I needed.

At the end of the evening, each woman wrote One Last Ripple before placing her card in my hands. Reading them brought me to tears:

"I came in feeling a little anxious and scattered. I left feeling grounded, centered, and calm."

"I don't draw at all, so this was a really nice experience... It felt very safe and welcoming."

"This helped guide me into a calm I don't think I would've been capable of on my own."

Eight beautiful women, one table, and a whole lot of flow. 🎨

With soft, cozy jazz playing in the background, we held river pebbles in our palms, breathed together, and let our pens wander into flowing lines, color, and calm. No experience needed, no judgment, just an intimate circle, a gentle pace, and so much heart.

Every piece was completely and uniquely theirs, and I was in awe watching each one come to life.

I flow. I release. I return. 🤍

On the evening after the fall equinox, I had the joy of bringing Rewire & Flow to Ondus on the Waterfront, right beside the Columbia River. 🌊

Each guest was greeted with a refreshing handcrafted welcome drink, the perfect way to arrive, settle in, and take in that beautiful view before we began.

Mother Earth held me this week. In the water falling over stone. In the moss beneath my feet. In sunlight breaking through the leaves, reminding me I am still here, still whole, still held. I did not have to earn this. I only had to stop long enough to let her in. This is medicine you cannot read in a book. You remember it in your body, the moment you let it hold you.💧
