🌊🦀 Summer Academy — Week 3: Oregon Coast Trip! 🐚🌊

Day 2: We started our day bright and early with an adventure along the beautiful Oregon Coast—tidepooling at Cannon Beach! 🌅🌊

For many of our students—and even some of our staff—this was a brand-new experience! We explored the tide pools, discovered incredible marine life, learned about the coastal ecosystem, and created memories together. 🐚🦀⭐

A BIG shout-out to Kirstin, our Project Coordinator, for all the time, planning, and hard work she put into bringing this incredible experience together! 👏💙

We are also incredibly grateful to Rotary for sponsoring this week and helping make hands-on learning experiences like this possible for our students! Your support allows our students to explore new places, learn beyond the classroom, and experience opportunities that many of them have never had before. 💙

The BBQ will take place during the first week of our Summer Program, and we would love for our current students to meet the alumni who came before them. Whether you are attending college, working, pursuing a trade, serving your community, raising a family, or exploring new opportunities, your story matters and can inspire the next generation of Upward Bound scholars.

Most importantly, we want to see you! We would love to hear about all the amazing things you have been up to since graduating, celebrate your accomplishments, and reconnect with the Upward Bound community.
