is launching a kindness campaign this week: Kindness Starts with Me. The goal is to foster a culture of kindness, care, acceptance, and inclusion at all Region North schools. This connects to our District’s Vision, Core Beliefs, and specifically the promises of the Strategic Plan: Pillars 2A and 2b. Design and sustain welcoming, safe, environmentally friendly, affirming, and inclusive learning environments.
Cultivate and model strong social-emotional skills.

At Vanalden we will dedicate Kindness with performing as many acts of kindness as possible to improve school climate, increase inclusion, and bullying prevention. Please see the Kindness Week Calendar of events pictured.
