Huge congratulations to our BD6 senior, Jebin Lee, from The Science Academy STEM Magnet! Jebin is a 2026 AAPA Scholarship recipient and is heading to Princeton University this fall! 🎓

Seeing our community come together to celebrate these scholars and our District's diversity is what it’s all about! 🌟

Monroe senior Adriana Amaya Gamez is proof that dedication, leadership and perseverance can take you anywhere. 🎓✨

With an outstanding 4.7 GPA, Adriana has made her mark as Captain of both the Speech and Debate Team and Mock Trial Team, earning titles including 2026 San Fernando Valley League Speech Champion and Attorney MVP in Mock Trial. She also served as Editor of The Vanguard, helping amplify student voices and celebrate the Monroe community.

Her hard work and passion for excellence earned her a full-ride scholarship through the QuestBridge National College Match program, the Cárdenas Scholarship and admission to Yale University, where she will continue her academic journey this fall. 💙

Congratulations, Adriana! We are proud of all you’ve accomplished and excited to see all that’s ahead. 🌟

It was a great day at Haddon Elementary! 🌿✂️ We cut the ribbon on a brand-new playground and green space — giving our students a safe, beautiful place to play, explore, and grow. Every child deserves a campus that inspires them, and today we delivered just that. Congratulations to our Haddon families, staff, and community. Go out and play! 🌳🎉
