Wanderlust Bus

We decided that it was time for a change, so we sold it all, bought a bus and hit the road smiling. Come along on the incredible journey with us.

The Wanderlust Tiny Addition is moving along at Wanderlust Waypoints . We're excited to be able to dock the Wanderlust Bus and make it the hub that attaches to this extension. More will be added in the future but until the new baby gets here we're going to have to settle for weatherproof 😁 Now, onto the roofing!

We're still working on the homestead and Wanderlust Waypoints but this new building will allow all of us (including the new passenger that's due in about a month) a little more space. This will hopefully also allow me some time to get some more videos done, including a new composting toilet build. So stay tuned for new content... soon... ish... hopefully... 😁

Our new urine diverter arrived from Serbia. We received this beautiful Marcel ceramic diverter to replace the one that our 5 year old broke when she was climbing to get on the counter (and now we know why Mom and Dad say not to do that 🤣) You never know how important something is until it's broke and you end up with p*e on the floor 😭 Don't be jealous, get your own from

This is how our 2 year old eats slices of American cheese... No opening, or unwrapping... Just pull the cheese out of the side of the wrapper using your teeth like a squeegee...😂 That's the definition of she determination...😁 I've also thrown in a picture of the determined toddler herself.

After a storm the sky here does this and it's amazing every time. This has no filter and I haven't changed a thing. Nature simply just nails it every time like Bob Ross painting a happy little tree.😲 :::sigh::: Buslife really gives the opportunity to slow down and see the pretty things we miss most of the time in our hectic "housie" lives...😁

When you feel like the end isn't in anywhere close, just remember it could be worse. This little trickle of water that runs through property took probably thousands of years to cut into this rock. But it persevered and drove it's way a good 2 inches into this solid chunk of planet.
I guess the moral here is and you'll find your path through the rocks.

Sometimes you wait for a part; other times, there's work to be done so you just need to use what's on hand...🤣 The pressure switch that starts Jeremy, our old Fordson tractor, went out and the part is coming from somewhere around Kent in England so it will be a minute. We've got trees to move around at now so a light switch will have to do. Now where is the carburator for the shop door...😉

There's something very about organizing tools on pegboard. It's the one time you get to see all of your tools, at one time, handle each one, and put it in it's place. Also remembering that you own said tool is also a plus... 🤣.
Outside of that very Zen statement, things are proceeding nicely at 😁 The tool room is getting put together and we're working on brokering the first shipment of sponsored tools in soon. Then it'll be time to welcome guests.

The first box from was delivered to today! We were extactic when we opened it. 😀We were worried that being winter it would be nothing but an assortment of squashes but instead we got all of this. Eggplants 🍆, Peppers 🌶️, Mangoes 🥭, Grapefruit, 🍊 Oranges, Ginger 🦰 Leaf Lettuce 🥬Green Onions, Red Onions Celery Apples 🍎 and just one squash (whew). Plus it's all and 😁 Well worth the price and we're excited to get our next delivery! We're not sponsored by them, but we endorse them... (If is reading this, contact us please, we'd love to talk)

Well, the holiday is behind us and it's 60 degrees out, time to get the tractor going and get back to work on property. We've got a few more trees to take down and the water system still needs to be created. Lots to do before planting season and our first guests.
