Kukio Jewelry Handmade sterling silver earrings, rings & necklaces with stunning gem stones. Please plan on 2-3 hours for your workshop.

Workshop prices cover the entire workshop, instruction and guidance, materials (single stone, single band or chain) to make a sterling silver ring or pendant you take home with you. The workshop will take place in my converted barn in Valleyford, WA which is located just off of Dishman-Mica & Madison, Valleyford, WA. A variety of gemstones and natural stones & Sterling Silver bands and chains will be available for you to choose from. My workshop is set up with four work spaces that can be purchased individually each available session. My workshop does have stairs up to the studio so it is not ADA accessible. The bathroom facilities are privative (composting toilet).

Day two of our four-week metalsmithing workshop: pendants! ❤️

These four created some of the most beautiful pendant necklaces, each one taking shape from start to finish in the studio. There were a lot of moving parts this time around, so I admittedly didn’t take nearly enough pictures! When you’re busy teaching, creating and watching everyone bring their ideas to life, sometimes the camera gets forgotten.

They’ll be back in late November or early December to finish out their four sessions with cuffs and earrings, and I’m already looking forward to seeing what they create next.

Four weeks of learning new skills, working with beautiful stones and silver, and creating one-of-a-kind jewelry with their own hands. I feel so lucky to be part of their journey!

I promise I’ll do better with the pictures next time. 😉🌺

Tuesday night ring workshop ❤️

These two were my perfect Tuesday night. I enjoyed the entire evening watching them create their own beautiful, one-of-a-kind turquoise rings. They filled my studio with such great energy, and I truly feel lucky to have had them here.

There’s something so special about sharing my space with people who are excited to create, try something new, and leave with a piece of jewelry they made with their own hands. Nights like these remind me how much I love what I do.

Four incredible women, traveling all the way from Richland and Indiana to spend time in my studio for the four-week metalsmithing workshop. ❤️ Indiana is officially the furthest anyone has traveled to take a class with me, and I still can’t quite get over that!

They’re taking back-to-back classes and will be returning in November for two more. I feel so lucky to have people willing to travel those distances to spend time creating with me, and I’m loving watching their skills and creativity come to life.

Today was all about rings, with some beautiful stones chosen: Turquoise, Amazonite, Prehnite and Blue Lace Agate (one guest brought her own, and it was absolutely beautiful). One of them also tried her hand at a gold-filled bezel for the first time, and it turned out stunning!

Tomorrow, we move on to pendants, and I truly can’t wait to see what they come up with. There’s something so special about having the time to slow down, learn new skills, experiment with materials and create something completely your own.

Thank you for making the journey to my little red barn studio and sharing this creative experience with me. I’m already looking forward to November! 🌺

Sterling Silver Turquoise + Silver Leaf Pattern Earrings

Oh, these colors! The rich turquoise, deep greens, warm oranges, and dramatic black matrix create the most beautiful little pools of color in these stones. Every detail is different, and I absolutely love the depth and character they have.

I set each stone in a thick fine silver bezel, giving the turquoise a beautiful frame while letting those incredible colors take center stage. Below, sterling silver teardrops feature a delicate leaf pattern that adds an organic touch and complements the natural beauty of the stones.

Suspended from sterling silver hoops, the teardrops have just the right amount of movement, catching the light with every turn.

I love how all of these elements come together. The rich colors, the patterned silver, and the movement make these earrings feel so special.

Sterling Silver Fossilized Coral Teardrop Hoops

Deep, rich reds with creamy outlines create the most beautiful plume-like flowers in these fossilized coral stones. The warmth and natural patterns in these stones are absolutely stunning, and I knew I wanted to design something that would let them be the focal point.

Each stone is set in a sterling silver scalloped bezel, adding a delicate, elegant detail that complements the organic beauty of the coral. Suspended inside oversized sterling silver teardrop hoops, the stones are attached with double hoops that allow them to move freely with you.

I love the combination of the bold teardrop shape, the intricate natural patterns, and the movement of these earrings. They have such a beautiful presence while still letting the stones speak for themselves.

Sterling Silver + Turquoise Stud Earrings

These beautiful turquoise stones remind me of a deep forest, and I absolutely love their rich, earthy colors. There’s something so special about these shades of green, and I wanted the silverwork to complement them without taking away from their natural beauty.

Each stone is set on a half-patterned sterling silver landing, wrapped with hand-stamped silver wire that catches the light and adds just a little sparkle. The delicate leaf pattern feels like the perfect pairing for these gorgeous stones, bringing a subtle organic detail to each pair.

Saturday night ring workshop ❤️

Two couples, four beautiful rings, and such a wonderful evening in the studio. I can’t say enough about these four. Such good energy, so funny, and genuinely excited about the experience. It was an absolute pleasure spending the evening with them and watching each person create something uniquely their own.

Stones chosen: Super Seven, Turquoise, and Azurite/Malachite x2. Each ring turned out beautifully!

Ring workshop 💍

These two friends celebrated a birthday in the best way—with an evening in the studio creating something they’ll have forever. Each chose a beautiful piece of turquoise and designed their own rings, and they turned out so beautifully.

They were such wonderful people to spend the evening with, and I loved watching each of them make something completely their own. There’s something really special about giving the gift of an experience, especially one that ends with a handmade piece to remember it by.

Saturday ring workshop ❤️

These three were an absolute pleasure to have in my studio today. Plenty of good conversation, silversmithing, and somehow the time just flew by.

They chose Serpentine, Black Moonstone, and Shattuckite (which she brought with her), and each ring turned out so beautifully. I love seeing how differently each person approaches their design and watching their pieces come together from a simple stone into something they’ll have for years to come.

Days like this are exactly why I love teaching these workshops. Creating something beautiful with your own hands, sharing stories, learning something new, and getting to spend a few hours together in the studio. ❤️

Third workshop with these two ❤️ And this time, earrings!

They absolutely killed it with these beautiful Labradorite dangles and Mountain Turquoise hoops, designed to leave room for chain or leather accents. We tackled beaded wires and attaching hoops—neither of which is as easy as it looks! There’s a lot of precision and patience that goes into those little details.

But honestly, one of my favorite parts of teaching is getting to work with people who are genuinely excited about silversmithing. Watching their confidence grow, seeing their ideas come to life, and getting to share this creative space with them is something I never take for granted.

These two have become some of my favorite people, and I truly love the time we get to spend creating, sharing stories, and getting to know one another.
